Lardon - " A small strip or cube of pork fat used in cooking... "
Located in the heart of Roncesvalles Village, Lardon is an offbeat restaurant that offers a unique dining experience. We chose the name Lardon because of its versatility. Pork is a magical animal that can be made to taste in many ways. Lardon, being a very flavourful boost to numerous recipes, is a classic foundation flavour.
Who we are
We are passionate cooks trying to leave our mark on the city, offering something interesting to Toronto's culinary scene. Our restaurant is mindful of the seasons, taking the prime of nature while respecting its peak flavours, rather than clouding it with unnecessary adulterations. "What your grandma used to eat" is an ethos that sums up our vision. We want to utilize the oft neglected cuts your nonna loved, because an animal is not just made of tenderloin. You will be surprised how tasty pork cheek can be.
We hope to see you soon! |
